Has called every morning for about a week at 8:30 in the morning Central Time from a number in Tucson...Pacific Time, where it would be 6:30 in the morning. Early bird catches the worm? This morning when "Steve" called, I asked him how the weather is in Tucson this morning. Caught him off guard. Said that our telecom manager told him to call back to talk, this morning, which I knew to be a lie, since our telecom manager is on vacation. I told him to stop calling, I investigated his number and it is a spoof, and he told me that I am a very rude person and he would " advise me to cooperate" when he calls back.
Called asking for our IT manager. When he got voice mail, he called back and asked for our controller. I asked who was calling he gave me some bogus name and when I asked what company he was calling from he garbled some name I couldn't understand. I asked him to repeat himself and he asked for the controller again. I sent him to an extension with no voice mail.
Called both yesterday and today asking for the sales manager, marketing dept, etc. Told me I didn't know who worked at my company so of course I informed him that I had been here 15 years and was very aware of who worked at my company. Spoke such broken English that I could barely understand him.
