Caller said his name was Paris (not likely), told me he was from Gryphon Roofing and wanting to perform an inspection and quote for any damage from the recent hail storms. Asked the companies address and he gave me 2128 E Cedar St in Tempe, AZ. He had to get the information from his boss named Ken.  Told him I was on National DNC list and he violated it and that I'll be suing for $500.00 for the violation.  He said he got the # off the internet and is allowed to call.  Asked for my TCPA rights to get owners name, and correct phone # information as the call was from a 520 # that should be more likely 480 if he was from Tempe.  He hung up on me. Looked up Gryphon Roofing and called 480-246-3603 & was transferred to Debbie.  We talked about the violation and she finally told me that Russell Hyman is the owner.  I believe they are using a cold calling company that doesn't care about the DNC because ultimately I'm suing Gryphon Roofing for the violation.

These roofing companies are not EXEMPT from calling against the DNC list. They are in violation.  Sue them for $500.00 in small claims court.
