I had just finished a call on my cell phone while sitting at my computer desk,  so I was able to get on 800notes and read a few posts before my phone stopped ringing.  As per usual, I was not about to respond to an unknown number, and -- wouldn't you know it -- they didn't leave a message.... So sad, so sad....

I'm going to write to my federal representatives in the house and senate and see why little or nothing is being done to curtail these criminals.  To the many folks who are old, feeble, or just plain gullible, these constant phone calls from scammers are tantamount to terrorism.

I encourage everyone to write their federal representatives and let them know how you feel about the scores of calls we receive every week -- like this one.  Maybe we don't give millions of dollars to their re-election campaigns, but we do have the right to vote for someone else who will listen to our complaints.
