Called my cell phone (DNC list of course). Left 10 sec silent message.

Phone rang once and stopped. I didn't answer.

Called my cell & disconnected before the first ring was up.

Received a call from 520-353-0064 to my cell phone that stopped after 2 rings.  Thanks for everyone posting their experiences.  It makes me wonder why they call and do not wait for an answer other than they are checking for 'good' lines.

I've read elsewhere on this site that they do the 'ring once' thing hoping you will call them back.  Then they know they have a live one.  It might have even worked on me once upon a time because this one is in my area code.  Now I ALWAYS Google unfamiliar numbers.  90% of the time, I find them on 800notes.  Thanks to 800notes and all who post.

Block these parasites whoever they are.
