I am now receiving 3 to 5 calls per week from this number. If I don't answer, they do not leave a message. In the past, if I did answer there would be no response or else it was a solicitation for Fraternal Order of Police. I consider this call a total scam for money.
I'm VERY tired of receiving calls from this and other frequent numbers! I refuse to answer. They never leave a message. I'm also on the National "Do not call List". I just wish it was enforced with penalties. We need laws against this infringement. Contact your Congress-persons. I too, appreciate the efforts by 800notes.com. I just hope they are not siding with the unwanted callers. Any response 800notes.com?
Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards. Some states have different laws in regards to the calls, which can differ from the federal. Do read the enforcement articles I posted below. There was several political call centers that just got into trouble! :)
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
