Called at 10:30 this morning (Sunday). I didn't answer. I worked for a law enforcement agency for 23 years. I don't know about other agencies, but our FOP lodge never hired a telemarketing firm to solicit donations. Be wary! If you want to donate to such a cause, go with the Arizona 100 Club! They are legit.
They have been calling my house for weeks. I don't pick up calls I don't recognize, but on Saturday I did out of curiosity. They hang up so I called them back and someone answered. They were raising money for the police but after reading the other comments I hang up on them.
