Just received the same text message, also in philly I m currently on unemployment wondering if anyone else is also, curious to see if they are targeting people who are collecting unemployment, trying to narrow down how they got my information could be that they have access to the unemployment database, and are using it to their advantage...
Did some quick research and found that the number belongs to the following company:
Central Office:
TUCSON, AZ - LEAP WIRELESS INTL, INC. DBA CRICKET COMM, INC. company sounds to be f in shady if u were to ask me!!!!
I just got the message too. It sucks that they can spam my phone now too. verizon philly. I have no idea about how to report it. I wonder if verizon let go of all its numbers. I just got another one. Annoying
I just saw the message above. I'm not unemployed. It sounds like verizon let their list of phone numbers slip out of their hands and the bot is just going through the list and texting this message. Most likely it's phony.
