Those that are required to register their number and abide by the list are your honest telemarketers. Want to find out what happens if you're not on the list, remove your number and see. By being on the list, you should be able to get the idea whatever junk calls you may or not be getting are not from honest telemarketing. The list was not designed to stop ALL junk calls. A few examples of what the list stops are things such as home improvement products, magazine subscriptions, etc.,. If you're able to do it, you can get it to where your phone rarely rings at all.
