So far this morning I have received 2 calls from the Fraternal Order of Police - one from area code 928 and another one from 602 - I blocked this number assuming it was yet another call from FOP from yet another area code.
A scammer spoofing an AZ # to trick people in AZ to answer. No message left. Now blocked from bothering me again. Oh well, they'll just spoof another # so the whack-a-mole game of blocking Indian cyber criminals continues. Sure be nice if the U.S. govt would regulate the phone industry to cause cell phone services to block all calls from spoofed numbers. Would put crappy companies like "Onvoy Internet Phone" out of business, as it seems the only service they provide is making it look like calls from foreign con artists are originating in your area code.
