Larry King (3rd reply in the thread) has it right. This is not a prank or a telemarketer, but a call to determine whether or not you have a security system for the purpose of a possible burglary.
This caller identified himself as a GE home alarm salesman. Suspect he is fishing to determine who may not have a home alarm system to facilitate break-in, burglary, etc. Attempted to recall with no success.
Caller identified himself as mike with ge. I interrupted him byI saying i did not want to talk and would like to be removed from any list my telephone number was on. At this point he started yelling and swearing at me in a very threatening manner. When I called the number identified on caller Id, a message stated the number was no longer in service.
