alrighty enough, whoever works or doesnt work for them great...i guess business owners have nothing else better to do than sit on here and diss a company thats been around for ages. They are trying to make a living as you should be. If youre not interested, answer them and tell them no or at least hear them out. They have helpful resources on checking out other companies' credit...they have to survive just like you...do you offer your "worthless services" for free? probably not, prob the contrary, you charge TOO much. long and short of it (thats what she said) be honest, be nice, one day you might actually have a sales staff and have to deal with the same things. And the DNL is not violated if you have a DUNS # and there is a legit reason for calling, so get it right. I get calls from stuff I am supposed signed up for or a customer of despite my registry on the good old DNL list...come on now. church son. and lastly creditbuilders are even offered, so times of changed and get over it, etc etc. are you stoops? DUNN and b-street, ur making that ish up.
haha, you dont know me I dont know you...someone brought up to google the # as I have received calls as well, so dont assume I am in on this or anything-I find it motivating and funny and some other emotions at the same time.
Regardless of which, i dunno who to trust anymore, but dont hate (pick on) those trying to make an honest living helping businesses out there-of course there are bad seeds which brings us here. You know what else brings us here? People who dont bother to go outside their shell and play victim and who are afraid. If D&B made house or business calls, then it would scummy door-to-door people. If you actually run a business do you advertise or reach out to people or do you wait inanely for people to cross and enter your doors? riddle that, peace out, its been real. but dont judge, you might be a great guy/gal but then WHY ARE YOU ON HERE??
they sure don't know how to listen...Called and asked for a particular person. Was told that the person the are trying to reach is out on medical leave and not known when they would be back. What can I do to help. Was told that I had to be on the listing before I could be given any info. Then they asked when the individual would be back...duh. Repeated myself and they quickly said thank you and have a nice day in a snotty voice and hung up. Nice people.
I received a call from this number. The caller ID said Unknown Name. The message was that the business was having some issues with the credit. First off, I am not allowed to have any say in the accounting. Second, no one at this office works in accounting. If they have an account with us then they would know not to call me. It is as simple as that. I would not recommend doing business with them.
Established in 1841, D&B is the world’s leading source of commercial information on businesses worldwide. D&B’s global commercial database contains more than 140 million business records. For 167 years, their services have enabled companies and governments to access quality business information that is relied on for making critical business decisions.
Essentially they are the first and foremost credit reporting agency for businesses. Your business is a matter of public record, so you are listed with D&B whether you want it or not. It's up to you if you provide them the proper information necessary to increase your business credit score.
Like it or not, they are here to stay. Governments use them for research before awarding civilian contracts. In-turn, even various departments of government are rated on how well they pay bills to contractors. They are listed on NYSE as DNB.
