Claims to be from computer technical support, but would not identify which company. When informed I did not make a technical support request the called said, "Uh huh" and hung up without further comment. The last time they called they claimed to be from MicroSxxxx and were calling because my computer was sending viruses out. I find that hard to do when the system is disconnected most of the time. I find it even more improbable MS would track me down. If I was causing havoc the ISP would shut me down and someone would be on my doorstep with a court warrant. FWIW, I have a hardware security appliance that records absolutely everything in and out. No outbound malicious activity has been logged.

Answered for [***] and giggles, why not give them a hard time... Said hello, lady was talkin to coworker... Accent was of an island natural like Jamaican or something like than not AZ... Said hello again.. She was still discussing something she wore the guy sitting near her and I thought she was saying something to me but she said something like I wish this lady would say hello already... So I said I am going to say hello for a 3rd and final time and then have nothing to do with you! She still continued talking to coworker... So I just shouted gibberish and then she responded but hung up...
No fun! So I don't know who they are or what crappy con they were trying to run when they won't at least play along with me .... Ugh can't get good help when you outsource all the job overseas lol!!!
Yes it the good old computer scam, they are hard to even understand!!!! They call about 2-3 times a month, so I let them waste their time for a couple minutes than I tell them I know it's a freaking scam they are a bunch of idiots.... Get a life!!! Haha. You would think by now they would realize I'm on to them!!!
They called my cell phone first saying that my computer had a virus linked to my email account.I luckily had someone inform me that it was a scam before i logged into my account. I just recived another call from them on my house phone with the same bull. I dont know how to get them to quit calling or get them caught up for what they are doing. Any ideas???????
I told the person on the phone that NO one would ever call and say you have a problem on your computer he got really heated. I told him he was a scam and he said no no ma'am it is real! I said I no it isn't and he is a scammer and he got mad! I told him I have already turned their old number over to FBI. He yelled at me and I said I believe in Jesus Christ and I thought he was a PIG!! And he started arguing about Mahamad and Jesus are the same and he was yelling at me to hang up!!! I said NO you called me! You hang up! I told him get a real job and stop scamming people. And I know that he is not in the states. And what really made me mad at the end was he used the Lords name in vain!!!! I said excuse me you just used the Lords name in vain. I asked do you believe in God and he said Mahamad and all Gods are the same. And then I NO there is only 1 God Jesus Christ! He said I would regret it. Should I be worried?
