We just received a similar call. Caller ID came up 766 but a recorded message stated that "This is the security department of Florida Credit Union. Please call (520) 720-0087."
The call came into one of our cell numbers. We do have an FCU Visa but they do not have our cell numbers on file.
Calling the number you are asked to enter 1 to "reactivate your card" and 2 to "disconnect". Entering "1" prompts you to enter your CC number. I entered 16 bogus digits but the automated response is able to distinguish valid VISA numbers.
I would guess that this is an elaborate phishing attempt. I'll do a bit more research on that area code now. Updates later.
I was left a message from a number that came up as a five digit phone number. Checked to make sure the number was just a normal area code and called it back. It answers with a recorded computer message that's garbled , welcomed me to the call and then asked for my number. At no time did the number advise what company it was. Message left said that "card has been suspended, please call security at 5...2...0...etc, until it left the whole number.

Last night, while I was already sleeping, I received 2 calls from "708" which was the entire number on the screen. The phone only rang once or twice, each time, and I didn't answer my cell in time. So I just turned the phone off, when I turned it on this a.m., I had a message, just like the ones above.
Told me to call:
5207200087
Florida Credit Union
You card has been suspended.
Call 5207200087
The message was at 10:08pm, a few min after I turned my phone off from the first two calls. Best part is, I don't even bank with them, or have a credit card with anyone like them.
So I called the number, and it asked me to press 1 to reactivate my cared and 2 to leave. I just pressed two and started thing about how the phishing calls are starting, people are just moving past email phishing.
