Just got a call also asking me to verify my address with Google Maps for my Website business http://www.JerseyShoreRosaryBeads.com, hope the Google Map service is legit....
Pretended to be "Googlemaps calling" Had a foreign accent and music playing in the background. He said he was calling to verify my listing. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!
How can a non-Google entity "represent" Google? If you believe that, I have a real nice bridge for sale connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan.
They are scam artists and that's that. Google is in Mountin View Norther California this phone number is nearly 2000 miles south south-east around Phoneix Arizona. Don't get scammed.
I just got a call from that number .... he had a heavy accent and spoke fast saying he was form Gooollllee ? hell i don't know this . i told him Google doesn't call people! and hang up!
