I picked up. She was calling from the Publishers _______ Company about the 2 Free Southwest tickets. From that thing on Facebook on Friday the 15th. I told her I did not complete the 2 offers to be eligible for the 2 free Southwest tickets and she took a really long pause to read her prompt, then apologized and said she'd take me off their calling list.
Don't know who these people are but I am sick & tired of all these 800, 888, and other strange area codes calling my phone. They hung up plus I do not answer these numbers, if you answer the phone then I think it establishes some type of business relationship and then they can continue to call you and therefore not subject to the Do Not Call List. I think the Do Not Call list is a joke, plus there is some scam about people calling asking you if you want to be put on the list or remain on the list. It is a scam, don't answer this phone call. Did not start to receive all these strange calls until I requested free items & donated to some charities. The March of Dimes is the worst, they call from 10 different numbers and plus they are not subject to the Do Not Call List, wish they were. I sent back the envelope and told them not to call me anymore that I will not donate to them because they call too much. The Fellowship or Christians & Jews is another one that is bothersome. I have to block their numbers but they call from so many numbers that it is impossible to block there calls.
Thay call me ever day 3 to 5 time's day.I let it go to answeringMaching & thayjust hang up.Thay don't say nothing.And,Its been goning on for month.Now about 5 month.
I got a call from this number this morning 1-5-12. The finally answered but there was so much background noise I could not understand the woman so she hung up. I have something that works on a lot of these calls. Wait till someone starts talking and then blow a police type whistle in the phone as hard as you can and then hang up. Like this number, if they call again I will blow the whistle.
