Caller ID shows Sears Roebuck, callers name is Derrick who says he's calling from Bridgeview, IL. Asked to call him right back and he asked to call me back instead. Has a lot of Sears appliance info on items we've purchased. The call is to offer a summer promotion on warranty renewal for a year for $253. He also has info on how we paid for our appliances and says we can pay him with a major credit card or Sears credit. Sounds fishy but not....still not sure.
Called Sears direct and they didn't know if it was or wasn't legit. My appliance warranties don't expire until next year so I'll wait for a call back to pick his brain.
Also, returned the call to the # on caller ID and it's an invalid #....??
Caller called my mom to extend a warranty when I heard my mom begin to give her credit card number I immediately told her to stop and I got on phone with caller and asked for a number to call him back he said he couldn't and I repeated the same request again for about 10 times as he yelled over my requests. sounds fishy to me. I will call Sears Roebuck mysle to investigate.
Caller ID shows Sears, they have called 14 times in the last 7 days, either late at night or early in the morning. Abusive and harassing, as far as I'm concerned. I will never answer, so, you might as well give up!
