Received a phone call from this number. It was an automated system that told me there were from my local bank and my atm card may have been compromised and that they had blocked the card from being used. They asked that I verify 3 pieces of information: my 16 digit card number, my pin number and my date of birth (I think that was the 3rd one). I attempted to get ahold of customer service but there was no option so I entered in all zeros. At the end the recording said that my card number had been verified and that it was now valid and I could continue to use it. Problem is that I don't have an account with this bank. It's a scam!!! The caller id indicated that it was "Amer Home MTC" and the phone number was 520-882-7767. Checking on the internet, this is a company that sells/services Trane air conditioners.
Got a call from 520-882-7767 - came up as Amer Home MTC on caller id. A female accented recording said the American National card of someone in the house had possibly been compromised and had been deactivated, press 1 to be transferred to someone to help. The same female voice came on again and said in order to help they needed some info - first she asked for my account # to which I just entered # and no numbers but it took it anyway and asked that I press 1 if it was correct, 2 if it was not - the same thing happened as it asked for my expiration date and PIN # - it did not respond to the fact I gave an expired date ... A male recording with an accent came on to verify the expiration and PIN and then told me my card was reactivated and had NOT been compromised ... Weird.
Have received several calls from this number, on both my home and cell phones, identifying themselves as "TIC Credit Union" - and we're on the National Do Not Call List. There is a credit union by this name, The Infantry Center Credit Union - but the recording pronounced it as "tick", unlike the real business. Same deal as the reports above - references to an account we don't have and requests for personal information.
Have received two automated calls from 520 882 7767. A recording stated they were the Aldenville Credit Union and my debit card had been frozen - press #1 now for reactivation. since I've never heard of the credit union I hung up.
