Got to be [***]......I watched a guy park in front of my house, walk across the street with a hangtag, put it on the door knob & leave without even nocking or ringing the bell. Says it was 2nd attempt. The first attempt was a kid about 12 with a hangtag, he walked into the garage & handed it to me, got into a waiting car & left. I don't have a clue what kind of scam they are trying to pull.
I got a door tag also, thankfully I looked up the number before calling them, and read various posts about this being a scam. I will tell all my neighbors! and call the cops
This is a scam. Absolutely it is. Call the local police department and request an officer to come speak with you. I had a tag from this 'Tucson Metro' on my door today. It had our name on it and our address (address is a 'duh' they can read our house number, but the name I'm assuming they got from the public records, since you can see who owns what property through them) it also had a confirmation number, which bothered me. I was unaware of what the company is, so why would it be confirming anything?
DO NOT call them. Any info you give them will only assist them in stealing from you. Please tell your neighbors and definitely call the police!
