Got call on my mobile phone. I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Thinking this is a scam as I get calls from 520 numbers quite often and they never leave a message.
CID UNKNOWN NAME. Expecting another call, so I answered it without looking at CID. Said some kind of police/detective association. I got angry, cussed, and told him to never call back again. Blocked the number. Suspicious if they are raising money for a charity, and CID is unknown.
I received a call from 520-988-3214. My called ID said the number was from Nogales, AZ. I picked up and the person asked if this was Robert. I said Yes, this is Robert Brakey and they hung up. I immediately recalled an article I regarding scammers calling to get my voice recorded saying yes and called back and it would go directly to a voicemail that said please press 2 if you would like to remove our number from out list. Bottom line I think I was just scammed, now I have to see what these scammers attempt to do with this...
I also received a no name just Nogales, AZ I answered the phone hesitate due to fact I was scammed earlier today. I answered the phone at last minute, it didn't go to the Answering Machine, I said " Hello", but they did not answer. I repeated.
" Hello " they hung up. I called the # back, they said if you want your number remove from our list press #2 if do not hang up it repeats the same thing, than hung up. I google the # and read the notes and some were just as my experience.
