They said there's charges pending from the Treasury IRS Department and to call them back before I get arrested, I don't owe any taxes so I don't have to worry about those thieves, please don't fall for it instead report them, eventually they'll get caught. Be aware, thanks.
I got the same message as other callers. A computer voice recording stating that if I didn't respond I was going to have criminal charges filed against me and something about the Treasury Dept....Blah, Blah, Blah!!! They're so FULL of SH*T!!! I feel sorry for some naive person who gets this type of ignorant message and actually calls them back and gets sucked into this Horse Sh*t! My advice to anyone who gets a message like this is to DELETE THE MESSAGE and carry-on with your day. Remember, if you really did something criminal, the lawyers, police, etc. are not going to use a recorded computer message to deliver the message to you on your phone. They would have to notify you by mail.
I just got the same call and my name was not even mentioned, its Saturday and Monday is a Holiday so they don't work on weekends. Very threatening and I am in bad health and only draw a small SS check. What a scam.
