her name was tonia (sonia ?) edwards with global destination services in california. their guest, meinhardt engineering was planning a convention in cancun in january 2013 and they would like to rent a 2-bedroom for $3600 plus maintenance fee of $750 etc etc she was to follow up with an email, but I never received one. then I began looking on the internet for this company and found this website. thank you so much for posting this. i was given the same number 530-21-6051, which i called and was placed on hold, then disconnected

She called my parents - Rickie -  same story as I am reading above.  Going to give her $4,000 for timeshare points.  My mother took the phone number and gave to me.  I have now called 2 times and after 8 min (approx) after being on hold and listening to music and the every now and then "your call is very important to us please stay on the line and you will be connected to the next ...." it disconnected me.

I got the EXACT same thing in Sept which I agreed to.  I got a phone number to call back, which I did asking where my check was.  They either put you on hold or tell you someone will call you back.  Now when I call they don't even answer - you listen to music and a recording your call is very important to us and after 15 min they say good bye - you get disconnected without ever speaking to anyone.  They wanted even more out of me and I said NO not until I see this first check which never came.  I did get someone tell me they were sending out the checks next week and that was a month ago.  they call back and use different names but the voices all sound like the same person - Charrie Hilton, Tonya Edwards, and a sonya all women but a man was answering the phone saying he'll have someone call back.  I was told that a Katherine Young was mailing the checks - and they all had accents like they were either Phillipine or from southeast asia.  Looks like their web site has changed as well.  so they take advantage of us North Americans making promises for our timeshares and then we never get any thing in return.  Lying deceitful foreigners.

POLICIES AND PAYMENT
DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
As is customary in the lodging industry, the Renter will need to provide a credit card upon the completion of the reservation and or exchange damages/loss/incidental charges deposit.  The Renter is responsible for any issues in this area (other than normal wear and tear) to the unit or its contents that may arise during their stay, either payable directly to the Resort or secondarily to the Owner if subsequently billed for damages or missing inventory from the unit. These things are so rarely a problem, but Renter needs to be aware that timeshare vacation condo Owners and their Renters/Guests are directly responsible for damages to a unit or missing condo inventory of supplies, furnishings, towels, etc.


ADDITIONAL MANDATORY FEES CHARGED BY RESORT TO RENTERS:
(i.e A/C or other utility surcharges, room safe, parking, pets, local government occupancy tax, etc.)
All the additional charges for on the resort will be shouldered by the reservation company Advance Services and the Owner  will not be liable to any charges that will take place on the resort.

Renter must be at least 21 years of age and be present at time of check-in. No re-renting, leasing, subletting, or transferring of this unit by the Renter to someone else is permitted. Renter will be entitled to use all of the resort’s amenities the same as if the Owner were using the unit (unless otherwise specified), and is expected to abide by all of the Resort’s policies while enjoying their stay.

A Charlie (female) Burrden.  Spelt with 2 n's on the phone but on 1 in her GMAIL address. same story as above.  On the phone though she said the dates were for Jan and on the contract they show for Nov.  Got the exact same contract for the same group as above, just the dates are changed.  Thanks  to everyone for writing in.  I won't fall for it.
