Out of curiosity I clicked to dial the number. Recording states:
Hello thank you for calling Master Card Security Department. We regret to inform you that your debit card has been locked. To reactivate your card please press 1, to leave press 2.
Pressing 1 - Recording states:
Please enter your 16 digit card number.
At this point I hung up the line and contacted my card issuer. The card issuer assured me this was a fraudulent phishing contact and that their company does not send text communications.
