This isn't "possible" fraud, it IS fraud! I live in Tennessee and started receiving calls from them. I contacted the Tennessee Bureau of investigations, and they have been building a fraud case against them. Contact your state bureau of investigations.
I have been receiving harrassing calls at work and also at home.
At work this person I could bearly understand called no less then 7 times today in a row. Said he was a paralegal. Spoke horrible english. Very hard to understand but told me I had to call his attorney back. I asked what it was about and if he knew I was calling my work and I could not talk. I hung up. Then he repeatly called back over and over. Then he left another broken english message.
He said it was the Federal something law firm. To I insisted on his full name and supervisor name and fax number. He wanted to validate my last four of my Soc. Security number which I would not.
At home I also had a message from a Michael Harris, same bad broken english. He said if I or my attorney doesn't return his call, well he could only wish me good luck as the situation unfolds....then got cut off by the answering machine.
I looked up the company online and it says it is a Debt Consolidation company.
I feel they are harrassing me and if it is over a debt, I would appreciate if you would step in on my behalf. The Phone number is 213 234 7502.
I tried the number at 10 pm and it doesn't say who it is but the mailbox is full.
Someone named Alex Otis calls my work over and over and leaves messages asking if I have a lawyer and who it would be. He is so hard to understand and has an annoying voice.
This is exactly what he says:
This message is intended for ........
The second you receive this message I need you or your attorney of practice to return the call.
The base at hand is extremely timesome? to do.
My name is Alex Otis and the Hotline to my 530-287-4210.I repeat it's 530-287-4210.
Don't disregard this message and do return the call... now Lisa if you don't return the call
I don't hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as a tuition? falls on you.
Now Good Bye and God Bless you."
