Caller states they have been monitoring my credit for months and because of my exc. credit they want to offer me a credit card..This is my fourth or fifth call.I want nothing to do with them.I am on the `Do not call list` and would never do business with a co. that violates my requests.How do I get them to stop?
Called our scam line at 9:17AM. I don't know anybody named Alleghany CA (lol). Idiots how stupid do you think we are? Never mind. Thanks for info on this site though. According to this site, I had two calls today trying to give me zero interest rate. Phone never answered but blocked for good measure because of low life's like this.
Lynn, you can't as long as spoofed telephone numbers are allowed. These criminals hide behind disconnected phone numbers. Many of them are located in India, Pakistan, Caribbean islands, Africa, and Eastern Europe, to name a few and not forgetting the good old USA. We have not answered our old unlisted, unpublished home phone for a year now and we've had two calls today. Our phone tracks the calls, otherwise we just use phone for out going calls and faxing. One number called here 36 times and I never knew who they were or what they wanted. So, if you come up with an answer to your question, please let us all know. Good luck.
