I got the same message too. Called my bank right away and nothing has been touched on my accounts - the only way peeps like these scamming schmucks get our info is if we enter it - if you entered your 16 digit account # you wouldve been up you know what creek...
the message was texted to me from a 530 area code - which is where i live, and the # reffed to call was a 650 area code, where i grew up... needless to say, I'll skip the #'s out to see if theres any additional info available....
oh, and i asked my bank and the only # they would have reffed in a text - would be an 800 # - in addition to asking for lots of verification before providing or giving your bank card number, etc....
