Received a call at about 7:30 PM on Sunday Sept 2, 2007. The call was initiated by a female with strong Philippine accent.
transfered to a male again with P{hilippine accent. Wanted to present me with either a Lake Tahoe vacation or a digitial camera. Stated that they represented TRENDWEST in San Jose CA. Wanted to make a personal appointment for a visit to an unknown address on Stevens Creek Boulevard. Stated that I should bring some form of identification and a major credit card. At that point I terminated the conversation.
Call from "PROLIXUS" @ 8:39 P.M. Feb. 21, 2008, got a call from those telemarketers as well it seems like they harrasing people for no specific reason they call and hung up after 3 rings and they never leave a message to your ans. machine so i decided to go to their office to file a complaint they explained it to me that it was an invitation for people that havent heard about them...well since i was there already i attended the presentation, at first i was just after the digital camera they are giving away in return for your time in listening to them i know its a scam so i never really paid atttention to them just sit down and wait for the presentation to end but half way i got curious about the travel convinience they can offer not to mention the affordability of it....i ended up being a Member. it was stupid of me to waste my time for a digital camera but i guess it was worth it i got more than a digital camera.
Glad to see these posts! Was curious to see who/what has been calling my cell phone (no message) about 15 times over the past two days. Now that I see it's some sort of marketing, I won't bother calling back... Thanks all!
