CALLED SAYING MY SSN WAS INVOLVED IN AN INVESTIGATION AND I NEEDED AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MICHAEL AND HE WOULD TRANSFER ME TO THE ARRESTING OFFICER. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS NOT FALLING FOR HIS SCAM HE GOT UPSET - I TOLD HIM TO NEVER CALL ME AGAIN THAT I HAD ALREADY CONTACTED THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, LOCAL POLICE AND FTC AND HE WAS THE CROOK HE LAUGHED AND SAID GIVE ME THEIR NUMBERS AND YOUR INFORMATION AND I WILL CALL FOR YOU - SLICK WAY TO GET ME TO GIVE HIM ANY INFORMATION. THESE GUYS NEVER GIVE UP AND ARE REALLY A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS BEWARE!!!!!
Received a t/c call from these guys today. They had my name and social security number and claimed that a law suit was being filed against me regarding a payday loan. I never received a payday loan or cash advance. The man that called me stated that his name is Daniel Lewis-he has an Indian accent. He told me that i would be served by the local police. I told him to do what he had to do. I will report him to the credit bureau. This is a complete scam.
I HAVE FILLED A CIVIAL SUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE FOR HARRESTMENT..IF U RECIEVE A CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE GO TO YOUR NEAREST POLICE STATION FILE A REPORT AND GO TO THE COURTHOUSE THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM..THEY CALLED ME TALKIN ABOUT I TOOK OUT A PAYDAY LOAN.
These people are complete scammers that prey on people with scare tactics. Don't fall for it. No matter what they say. They have no legal authority, I contacted the FBI myself, and they said these people are calling from overseas and are not legit. They can not put you in jail. When I told them I was an attorney and to shut up the guy started making kissing noises at me and said, "I love you, I love you" and hung up. And yes, Michael Smith had a deep arabic accent. These guys use American sounding names....come on seriously?
Yeah I got a call from these people to, they sent me docs in an email and stated that I to took out a payday loan and there are counts againest my name and ss number. Saying that they would stop my SS Benifits and make sure that I would never work again. I think I will do both, go to the Local Police Department and to the FBI to report them, If there is a Civil suit on these people how can we all ban toughter and fight them, and change into a class action? Daniel told me that I had till 10am this morning to fax the docs back to him or court will start on me. And on the docs they say that the money goes to a Mark Brown. The number that they called me from was 1-530-419-1520 but had 530-419-1520 as a contact number. Thank God I done a reverse look up and found all of your post. Thanks for saving me from be scamed. :-)
