I get calls almost daily from something called Card Services and each call is from a different area code and number. I am on the Do Not Call list and have reported this to the FCC, but to no avail. These people could care less about your privacy or the fact that if you answer on your cell phone , it costs you. It is obvious that the government doesn't care or they would have put a stop to this illegal activity long ago.
June 26, '13 @ 1:21pm (ET). I answered, heard someone breathing, then the caller hung up. The caller id said CA, USA. The area code and prefix are listed for Sierra City, Ca, but that doesn't mean anything. All these bozos fake their numbers.
Report them to the do not call list and make sure you register your phone number with the do not call list. The only way to stop the calls is to report them.
Use Keywords like, Dirty Bomb, Terrorist, Money Laundering, Al Queda, in your conversations with these telemarketers to get these phone calls tagged by the NSA.
