We received a voice message from this telephone number. It says it is a Hot Line & is urgent to return call. We do not do any business associated with this number. Donor know if I should return the call or if it will be a scam.
He said he was with the IRS and they did an audit. Said I need a lawyer because they found deficiencies on my taxes. I told him I didn't believe he was with the IRS and he hung up.
I received a recorded message from this number saying I owed the IRS money. Nikki Johnson identified herself as an agent for the IRS. When I called the number the first time, someone who could not speak English very well answered the phone and wanted me to give him my name and number. I told him to just transfer the call to Nikki. He refused. I hung up and called the number from my cell phone and a male answered. I let him know that I was going to make a complaint with the IRS. He hung up.
Called the number back. They claimed to be the IRS. When I googled the number it said scam. So after they asked for my attorneys information, I told them I googled the number and said it was a scam. The guy responded with who is the [***] who told you this was a scam. Clearly not the IRS. Do not waste your time
