calls everyday......getting tired of it. I know the number by heart. Def a spammer. This has been going on for 6 weeks now.manyone know how I can get them to stop?
I answered this call for the first time, although I have gotten many calls daily from this same number for weeks. I was curious, so i answered today........it was the same female apparently, monotone voice, talking mortgage qualifier, asked me if it's okay if someone calls tomorrow with mortgage offer, I said okay. I'm under no obligation I figure........WTH........she didn't ask anything other than how's my credit.......I told her it sucked (haha!).......so she told me they might be able to get me a better rate and someone would call me tomorrow if it's okay. I said ok. We'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.........I may just tell them to take me off their call list and see how it goes from there.........
been calling every day for weeks on end..........there are calls from other peculiar towns around the country that I've never heard of......they just show up on caller ID as a town name and the area code and phone number, like this one.......it shows up as "Smartsville CA" and the area code and number......they may all be related I'm thinkiing. Today, I answered for the first time, mostly out of curiosity. I usually NEVER answer a call that doesn't identify itself. That's my personal policy.
Anyway, it was the same monotone, computer voiced girl, talking lower mortgage rates, and maybe they could give me a lower rate and would I like to have someone call me tomorrow with a quote? She asked me how my credit was and i told her, but that is the info she asked me for. I said okay, someone could call, as I figured I'm under no obligation of course. I may change my mind tomorrow of course and just ask them to take me off their call list instead, depends on my mood. :)
The first time I got this call it was from Megan asking me about refinancing my home. I said "NO" and hung up. Now she calls back daily, I just blocked but yes, I am sure I will get called again from another number. I hate these finance companies or whatever they are. They may have just wanted to collect my personal information.
