Called at 9am with threat of arrest and all properties seized and bank accounts frozen. Recent heart surgery caused panic attack. I paid the $500 (dummy me) only to be told the IRS needed an additional $2500. Its a Saturday so I should have been more alert. Called Legal Shield and they told me of this scam. I am in the process of notifying legal agencies. He just called again, not answering!
This is a foreigner who has been scamming people out of California. He calls and demands money and uses threats of the Attorney General, States Attorney and Sheriff's office. He also threatens to close your bank account. He is very intimidating to callers. What ever you do, DO NOT buy a money gram or GreenDot card to pay him. He is a known scammer. BEWARE.
Steven Collins stated that unless I pay $499.99 within a half hour that he would have my bank account shut down drivers license cancelled and a sheriff come to my place of employment for collection of the funds. I was to go to a CVS or Walgreens to have the $499.99 sent immediately to him. Please be careful, this is a scam and fraud. This is a foreigner with a very very heavy accent with an American name. Don't send him anything because when you ask for an address or a supervisor, he will hang up on you. Google the number 530 567-2511 and you will see what I mean.
I received a call from him and he told me that I had charges pending against me. He said that if I did not pay $330 within the next hour my bank account, drivers license, all credit cards would be frozen. He demanded that I go to a CVS drugstore, buy a voucher card and pay him $330. If I did this within the next hour he would release the complaint. I reported this to my bank, however I did send him the money. He called me back and said I would get a full refund sent to my house due to an accounting error. Like a fool, I believed him. Today I talked to him and he told me I would not get a refund and that my $330 was in his pocket. I told the scammer I was reporting him. Someone needs to do something about this guy. He is ripping people off. Thank you and never again.
I also received a call from this 5305672511 number today at work he threatened to have me put in jail my license suspeded. Also he told me to go to CVs or Walgreen to send him $400 within n hr. N if I dnt that he will have me arrested , license suspended and account shut down for six months.
Its a scam.. Extortion aka fraud! Don't answer the phone every time you see a number you don't recognize! Do report it to the local police, FBI, State attorney Generals office, the FTC, FCC.
