Very heavy Indian accent, claiming to be US Treasury. "Hi this message is intended to contact you. My name is (whatever) and I'm calling regarding an enforcement actions executed by US Treasury intending your serious attention" blah blah blah. Don't answer, according to Google, this is a huge scam that's arisen over the past year. If you call back they will try and use info they found from a persons search and try to scare you in to paying.
They just called back and left a message. They said to call them back at 661-526-2996 but called from the same 530-589-8017 number. Again, they had a heavy Middle-Eastern/Indian accent. T Martin or Steve Martin was the caller about "enforcement actions executed by US Treasury".
Obvious scam...they gave me a different number to call back and when I did it gave me the message "The Magic Jack number you have called has not yet been assigned"...scammers using fake numbers to try and trick people into parting with their money.
"Adam Jones" with a very heavy Indian accent calked my daughter and threatened her that law enforcement is involved & they are coming to her home to arrest her AND seize her property. She was so upset.
I calked the number they calked her from 5305898017. When informed Adam Jobes that this is a scam. He hung up. I called him back 10 times until finally he sent my calls to voice mail that was full.
When he did answer I let him know that he is a piece of [***] for threatening a young single mother. He hung up I called back.& spoke to his associate, because Adam Jones couldn't come to the phone... But associate sounded just like Adam Jones!
I informed associate that I will call every [***] minute of this day! You want to call my daughter & threaten her then I will call you every minute & let you know what I think about that! He hung up.
I called back and said I was disconnected. I give them daughters name & they hang up.
I figure as long as they are answering my calls all day it is somewhat preventing them from making a scam call to another person!
These people are sick!!!!
