Caller left laughing message that said,'U.S.-trained rebels in Syria handed over American-supplied vehicles and ammunition to an al-Qaeda linked group, the Pentagon said Friday in the latest blow to a program plagued by problems since its inception.
The rebels surrendered six pickups and ammunition to an "intermediary" for the al-Qaeda affiliated Nusra Front in Syria, the Pentagon said in a statement. The equipment was about a quarter of what the rebels were issued and was turned over in exchange for safe passage through an area controlled by the Nusra Front.
The allegations, if true, would be "a violation of Syria train-and-equip program guidelines," Col. Patrick Ryder, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, said in the statement.
The program is part of an effort to vet Syrian rebels to form a ground force to combat the Islamic State. The rebels are trained by U.S. advisers in locations outside the country and then inserted back into Syria.'
The caller further said, "This is a repeat of what has happened in Vietnam when US-trained and US-funeed South Vietnamese troops surrendered US weapons to local VC-organized militias in order to get safe passage thru their terrirotires as they failed to stand up to the assault of North Vietnamese regulars..."

Got a call 5 minutes ago. Caller ID said Health Benefits. Must be some of those wonderful folks wanting to help with the myriad of Medicare choices. I don't know because my Sentry 2.0 call blocker dispatched it efficiently and I added it to the blacklist..
Said I would be reaching Medicare age sounded like a tape but the person said she was Agatha. I called one weird number back today and told them they are a scam. Fed up with these idiots. Don't they have better things to do than bother people. At least i can block their numbers.
Rec'd call from this phone number, on caller id, it shows it's from Grass Valley, CA. Didn't p/u call, no message left. If it is from a 'healthcare provider' of some sort AND from the comments, I'm sure I've told them to stop calling. Got a call from Cisco, Ca last night. Told them to stop calling as well.
