Responded to an ad I had on Craigslist.  Asked about the wedding dress and if it were still available.  This person wanted to "secure it A.S.A.P."  I responded with "Great!  Cash only.  No checks".  I didn't hear back.  Usually when they don't ask to see it, and they act too eager, they want to try to scam you with a check.  No thanks.

This number also responded to an ad I had on Cragslist about a wedding dress and said she wanted to "secure it ASAP" as well and asked if her seamstress could pick it up because she is out of town for USCG training. When I said I would accept cash only, I never heard back. So be cautious!

I received the same kind of message, she said she would send a cashiers check which I thought was legit, but she keeps making excuses for why it hasn't gotten to me yet. she said something about a seamstress picking it up as well.

I received a fake check from this number lady. She said she wanted to buy my wedding dress and that her seamstress would pick it up, but her seamstress, so she said, lived in Maryland which is across the country from me. The envelope the check came in was from Florida, and the check was from an insurance company in Utah. I took it to the bank, they said it was a fake check. Fraud. If I would have cashed that check I would have ended up owing the bank money. DON'T EVEN REPLY TO THIS NUMBER! SCAMMERS!

Got the exact same message waited on the lady for two weeks and never got a check kind of glad I looked into this a little more I have had about 5 of these random numbers ask about my dress and eventually they call mentioned a cashiers check everyone of them I even believed the first one and took my add off of craigslist like they asked me to do for an extra $25-$50
