Didn't answer, message in fairly heavy accent--male, sounded like from India--threat of federal legal action against me : "Hi. This message is intended to contact you. My name is Steve Marin and I'm calling regarding an enforcement actions executed by U.S. Treasury intending (?) your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second offense to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 530-694-4474. I repeat--530-694-4474. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you." Verbatim--I had a hard time understanding him, so I'm not sure if he said "intending" or something similar.
somewhat threatening call about U.S. Treasury action. Like the entry above, did not mention my name, just 'contact you'.....the rest of the message is similar to the above....called at about 1:00 Monday.
I called back. They had my name and wifes name. on way to arrest me for tax fraud. No way around it. But MAYBE if I go to bank right now and (send money gram for $5170.30) he would call off the "enforcement officers" with a "secret code #" once the $ had been sent. (this was a live phone call. I have many details... there is not enough time or space to give complete story... Can I call someone to give a detailed report?????)
