Guy keeps calling stating he has paper to serve me regarding a claim. If I try to call number back, there is just message stating mail box is full and no other information of who he is or company he is with. When I ask him what company he is with he would not say. He does not give his name or Companys name.
This is a scam company called Global Prelitigation. They harass you and your family by saying that you have an outstanding debt (usually from a payday loan company) and that they are going to serve you court papers or arrest you. They are fishing for personal information about you like you social security number and credit card numbers. They threaten you and use illegal collection techniques but that's OK with them because you don't really have a debt that they are trying to collect.
Stay away from this company. Do not try to negotiate with them. Do not give them your personal information. Report them to the FBI, Consumer Protection Agency, and your State Attorney General.
Yes this guy called me from the number and asked if I know a Lee Thao. I told him no I don't and he said that Lee is in a serious of trouble and he has me listed as a contact person. I told him I don't know a Lee and I hung up.
