They called claiming to be PG&E. They also said we have an outstanding payment that we have not paid yet. They told us that the place will be shut down in 1 hour so they told us to buy a card called the greendotmoneypack from 7-12 and we had to pay cash at around $500. Luckily someone called PG&E and PG&E confirmed that there was no such problem. We hung up and they called again asking if we contacted the billing department and I told them that PG&E confirmed that we payed and then he said that there must be an error and he will further investigate it. And then he hung up.
I was in the middle of work and got a phone call from the same phone number. It was a lady said that her name was Heahter Smith from Southern Edison Gas and Electrics and she wants to speak to the owner. She stated that we are late on our electric bill so we have an hour and 15 minutes to pay our bill otherwise they are going to cut off our service by tonight. Scam......!
He called and said he was Special Agent in Charge of the DEA. He then said a very large amount of Hydrocodone was headed to my house (his use of the English language was extremely poor) and that I was in danger and needed to call him back due to the open investigation going on.
