I got a call from this same number, 1 (530) 870-4917 Marysville, CA! Telling me I owe the IRS $5,000! And they told me if I didn't pay the money right away, the cops were going to show at my house and arrest me and put me to jail for 5 years. I asked for the their address and the person hung up on me. Never got a call again.

Received a call from 1-530-870-4917 on a weekday while I was at work. They left a voicemail message saying it was a officer at the IRS and I should not disregard the message and contact them immediately before they took action against me. I've had an issue with the IRS before and know that they never contact by phone. Their SOP is to send letters identifying the issue, etc. If there is no response to the letter then they might follow up with Certified Mail, etc. DO NOT TAKEN IN BY THESE SCAMMERS!!!
