they have been calling my cell # for the last 2 days around 5 times a day. Just called them today form my work # and the guy said that he can't tell me anything b/c I am calling from a different #, he did however say that he works for JMS marketing and then hung-up. Called the company back from my cell and woman answered as if it was her personal phone, first thing I said was to take me off their calling list immediately and she hung-up in the middle of me talking.
Got this same call today and "Mike" wanted to know some personal information. I told him to hold it and I'll answer his questions after he answered mine. That's how I got this name, it's probably something made up. Said he was from Reward Zone U,S,A, I told him I don't know of any such place. I found out later, through Google and Yahoo that this is an ongoing problem and being on the do-not-call registry does not stop them. I received a call from (252) 387-8525 and (530) 961-9004 with the same crap. The only thing I could tie them to was the order I placed with thredUP, which is a good site but some kind of way these people are using information from their site or they're hacking them. I'm doing a number block and will continue to for as many phone numbers as they use. Please do what's needed to protect yourself, it's the only way. Good luck.
THIS NUMBER CALLED ME SO I CALLED BACK AND SOME LADY ANSWERED SAYING SHE WAS LOOKING FOR MY HUSBAND AND OH MET YOUR HUSBAND AT THE BAR LAST NIGHT HE GAVE ME THIS NUMBER TO CALL HIM.. IM SO SORRY DIDNT KNOW HE WAS MARRIED AND WHEN I ASKED WHO SHE MET OR WHAT HER NAME WAS SHE HUNG UP .....
Thanks for the info . Got a call today similar to yours. Call came up being from Chico, CA. A woman was on the other end saying that she was from something USA.com. She said I was in the top finalist to win a laptop, corvette or trip to Mexico. Asked if I had a Visa or MasterCard and if I was between the ages of 21-75.
I told her I don't do by phone giveaways . I've been receiving too many scam calls recently . Hopefully , she won't call back .
