Who called from 5402428805

Called today at 5:45 pm.

They called my house yesterday from 540-242-8804.

Asked them to stop calling me. Got annoyed when I asked to be taken off of a list.

Called Fri. 6/20/07 about 3:15 p.m. and didn't say anything. I've received numerous calls from this number and the same result every time.

I used my cell phone to call this number and got a recording say, they are from the Virginia Police Association. The gave me 1-800-594-4246 to call for more info or they would call me later. I know now this is a scam. What can we do about it???

I've had three different numbers supposedly from Montgomery County Md. Police collection departments that were a scam and I turned them into the Maryland Police Department. Maryland police do not solicit money in any fashion. They have sales ect. to collect money.

We received 3 calls in the SAME day!!  We just had a terrible shock of a death in our family and the first call I told the so-called "officer" this information and he responded with sorry for your lost and hung up.

The second time the phone rung about 5 times before they hung up!

The third time happened just a few minutes ago and the phone rung almost off the hook!!  What part of "WE JUST HAD A DEATH IN OUR FAMILY" DO THESE PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND! HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR GOD SAKE!!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, I DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN!  EVER!!

They call repeatedly, despite the fact that I've asked them to stop calling.  Who can I report this to?
