This morning I also received a call from a blocked number. A fellow insisted that I had won a trip because of my good paying record on my credit card. He wanted to know which credit card I had. I refused to give him any information. He forwarded the call to his "supervisor" who said I sounded like a smart women and did I think he sounded like a fraud. I said I wouldn't know. I asked for the claim code and he said I would have to give him information for it. I said I don't give out information and he could send me the prize. He gave me the number 540-319-4313 as a call back to claim my prize.
I googled the number and came to this site.
SCAM Alert. Claiming to be from Alberta, Canada (not Virginia) and that he received my telephone number because he works with banks and credit card companies
Recieved a call "blocked number" ..Said his name but I have forgotten ..he was claiming I have always paid my visa & mastercard balances in full and therefore was chosen to recieve a free trip for up to 6 people for 2 wks all inclusive...had 2 years to use it.. and kept avoiding my questions of which company he was working for .. and i said it was a scam and he said I could check the internet under "enterprize usa" and a callback number of 540-319-4313.. and scamers don't give a "call back number"... I didn't find anything on the net and am not calling back after finding this site.. I was 100% sure this was a scam but was just thought I would check to see if anyone else reported it.. thanks
I received the same phone as sited from above (Sindy). I couldn't find anything on the internet under "enterprise usa" either. I typed in the cal back number and was directed to this site. I was sure it was a scam..sort of disappointing, but I am glad I checked.
I got the same call as stated above said because i was a good mc customer I had recieved a free trip. I questioned it and he said I could call hime back at this number SCAM
Today I also received a phone call from someone who said that he was with "visa and mastercard reward points". I was told that since we are good customers we have been chosen for this free trip. I asked him a couple of times which company he was with but each time he repeated himself saying that he was with "visa and mastercard reward points". When he asked me to give hime the last 3 numbers on the back of my mastercard I told him that I was not comfortable with that. He gave me the phone number indicated above and said to call back and speak to Brian Wilson once I was comfortable giving out that number. I did not return the call
