But yet you have to make a certain amount of money a year to "qualify" for this "getaway" ... My cousin referred to to this , and honestly I think it's BS .
There is a better way to "know it is not a scam". Don't get involved with this group or any other Time Share. Just a touch of simple math will tell a person all they need to know about this scummy industry.
You are correct when you say the Do Not Call registry applies. We follow that protocol very strictly. We don't call people at random. Property owners at Massanutten refer you. You all are more than welcome to look up Massanutten resort and even call them to ask if it is a legitimate program. And to BigA, we don't just "give" vacations away. It is on behalf of an owner. Kindly enough, my bosses didn't ask me to write on this website; I did it on my own, because I'm tired of people saying it is a scam when there are clearly steps that you can take that prove we are a legitimate buisness, verified by the BBB.
Called landline today. Caller ID read reservations. Caller hung up and left no message on answering machine. We were home and screen all calls. Any legitimate caller should know the name of who they are calling and leave a message with a call back number; not just hang up!! We are happily timeshare owners at Massanutten, but if they want to get in touch with us they will have to leave a message. So many calls are legitimate numbers that are being used or "hijacked" by spammers, that we do not answer any call unless a valid message is left. We live in NJ.
