I received several calls from this company back in January 2011 (using the number 540-479-3754) but it finally stopped, so I thought that maybe, just maybe, they didn't realize that they were breaking the law and changed their ways after my complaint to the DNC registry. But lo and behold, they're calling again from a slightly different number (540-479-3343), so it is blatantly obvious that they know exactly what they're doing and have no respect whatsoever for the DNC registry. Now that they've really pissed me off, I dare them to call me again. If the FTC can't stop them, I'll plaster their name all over the internet to the point that no one within 500 miles of Fredericksburg will ever do business with them.
For those who have not read the reports under their previous number, the premise of the calls is to "offer" free water testing in your home but, in reality, they are trying to sell water softening equipment at exorbitant prices. If you get a call from this company, please file a DNC registry complaint with the FTC at https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and, whatever you do, do not let them into your home because they obviously cannot be trusted.

Received a call from Payne Environmental offering free water testing services. Reported to national DNC. If they call back, I'm going to press 1-Yes, I'm interested, schedule a testing visit then throw them down the 500 foot deep well to test the water till their hearts content. [***].
I keep getting calls from these damn Gyspies about testing my water. I have a 400 foot deep well. I don't need to have my water tested. If I need to have it tested, I will do so myself. I have complained about these damn Gypsies before, and yet they continuously keep calling me. I just reported them to the FTC do not call list for whatever good it does. Each time this outfit calls me, I reported them. My number is listed on the Do Not Call List, anyway. These damn Gyspeis had no business calling me in the first place. People whose number appear on the Do Not Call List do not want solicitation from damn Gypsies. I wish that someone would run these folks out of town! They are highly annoying. More people should report them to the FTC and perhaps federal action may be taken against them. I really despise all Gypsies and telemarketers anyway. All they do is raise my blood pressure. I think it would be a blessing if someone would burn down their businessea-- and send them packing back to Murphy Village, from whence I believe they came in the first place! Those who do not come from Murphy Village, come from Winter Park, Florida. They are eitehr affilaited with the irish Travelers or Carnival Carnies, or a group of Roma Gypsies. In my opinion, most Gyspies as such in the United Stats tend to be related to each other and have been conning folks for generations. They only recently expended from the tar and roofing business or used car and automotive trades to the laboratory testing business. Those in the envirnomental tsting busienss either had grandparents who were moonshiners, or folks who went around with dowsing sticks. There are all just one step aaay from being carnival carnies.
ABOUT EVERY SIX MONTHS I RECIVE UNSOLICTED CALLS FROM THESE DAMN GYSPIES ABOUT TESTING MY WATER. I KNOW THAT THEY ARE A PILE OF CROOKS. EVI DO NOT WANT THEM TSTING MY WATER EVEN FOR FREE AS THEY SUPOSEDLY ADVERTISE. I HAVE HAD MY WATER TESTED BEFORE. I KNOW WHERE IT COMES FROM. I HAVE A 400 FOOT WELL THROUGH A LIMESTONE AQUIFER. I DO NOT NEED FOR MY WELL TO BE ANY DEEPER. MY WELL WATER IS A BETTER QUALITY THAN THE COUNTY WATER WHICH MY NEIGHBORS RECEIVE. ALSO , I FILTER MY OWN WATER. I DO NOT NEED THESE GYSPY SCUM HARASSING ME CONSTANTLY ABOUT WATER TESTING. I WISH THEY WOULD DROWN IN A CESS POOL, PREFERABLEY A CESS POOL OF THEIR OWN MAKING! MY NUMBER ALSO IS ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I ALSO REPROTED THEIR LAST CALL WHICH CAME IN BEFORE 6 P.M. THIS SUNDAY TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST AS A VIOLATION. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THE FEDS DO NOT GO AFTER THESE GYPSY SCUM.
