Called. No message left.

Got a call on my cell phone, left a recorded message trying to sell me auto insurance...but I don't have a car.  Reporting to the Do Not Call registry.

Called at 11:00am. I answered the phone & no one spoke then it hungup. Called the number back & a machine said "Press any number to be added on the 'do not call' list." I don't understand how these random bill collectors or whatever get my number! I'm only 19 & have never signed up for a credit or anything.
