Didn't answer this because I do not unless I recognize the caller. No message left. Because the internet states my age--86--I think that most calls will be for hearing aids, buttons to push when I fall & can't get up, and dire messages that a grandkid is in jail.
Rec'd a call from a number showing as (540) 540-8853 with a callback message to (435) 374-4984. The caller, a male, left a voice mail message stating 'By attorney general of the state, this (?) must be resolved immediately. Again he repeated the callback number as (435) 374-4984 and stated 'You must call back right now'. Needless to say I did not call back and thought you might want to know. PS...Blocked the number and saved the voice mail just in case a prosecutor might want it.
collapsing telephone system: Since I started using a call blocker that allows blocking area calls, the number of telemarketer and other trash calls has dropped dramatically. I'm not alone. The telephone pollsters in the last election found that out. I have so many area codes blocked that a lot of people who might have a legitimate reason to call me, can't. The telephone system is collapsing. Watch some jerk propose doing away with call blocking as the cure.

Received a man's call with this number on my caller ID, stating my states attorney general has an issue with my account and it needs to be resolved immediately and to call 435-374-4984 which is a number in Logan, UT.
