As it so happens, I went to high school with this guy. I didn't know him personally, but he started bugging me on Facebook with multiple profiles after he saw a play I was in. I thought I finally had him completely blocked since I hadn't heard from him in years until today. After reading the message "are you a girl? - asian film buff," I knew exactly who it was. He's mentally retarded and harmless, although extrememly misguided and pervy. I am a little concerned to learn that it sounds like he just dials random numbers... hoping that this is a coincidence for me and that he doesn't know he's found MY number. (Unlikely, right?)
Caller has a history of harassing those he texts at random. His name is supposedly Joey Mason and based on what information I could piece together he is 27 or 28 years old and from Southwestern Virginia.
His messages typically begin with "who is this?" and often progress to the pornographic/perverse. I have blocked him from making further contact with me, but feel there should be a more efficient way to stop his harassment of so many people. He has been exercising this behavior for years (at least since 2010).
Harassing text messages from some guy. Supposedly from Blacksburg va. Looked up phone number, many have received the same message. Texts turn sexual and inappropriate quickly. The phone number in question is ... 540.761.0239. Considering the nature of the texts one would think there was a legal way to stop this guy.
I too went to high school with Joey. I know exactly who he is but never talked to him once. Are some of you not from the Roanoke/Blacksburg area? I would be interested to know how he is collecting all of these numbers.
