day after day of calls from a Fred Jones on my Cell Voicemail - and I have a Tracfone! Just calling to clear the message from the voice system costs me time - this is getting to be harassment.
No message beyond "this is Fred Jones. It is Important *yeah right* that you return my call at 540-774-4705" - no times, no other information - nothing about Who they are even Looking For!
The worst is it seems to go directly to Voicemail - I never even hear the phone ring - how are they bypassing into that system to begin with?
I get calls from this number also...I finally called it back & a lady answered it "susan michaels'. the number is a Roanoke, va based one. They never leave msgs. I told them that the person they were looking for was NOT at my number. She apologized & hung up...THEN they called RIGHT BACK! I told them that the person they were asking for was NOT at this number.
Got calls from 540-774-4705 and 540-562-8049 each time the caller said that it was an important business matter and asked me to hold and then press 1 to continue to hold.
I started getting calls from this too so I stayed on the phone. Don't talk to them! Susan Michaels wanted my personal information to"verify my identity." But we're not talking the last four of my social or anything. They wanted my maiden name, my mother's maiden name, date of birth and full social security number. I'm pretty sure they are trying to steal identities.
Yeah, keep getting the same garbled calls on my cell phone from the 540-562-8409 number. Never any other message than "*static*michaels calll*static* click" when i call back noone answers. Tonight i reached a human. Its a collection agency who seem to not know what they are doing. Very rude staff, and wanted to "verify" my info. When they were told that i prefer to have business transactions in writing, the woman on the line said that they sent A letter back in November, to an address i had never even heard of. If this company is mailing out sensative inforamtion they need to be sure of the facts before sharing personal materials with strangers. Refused to mail out anymore information on it and I was told she would send it to an attorney. Such and experience leaves an even worse taste in my mouth than i have had in the past when dealing with that type of person.
