I received a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not answer it, but, rather, called the number back from my landline phone. It just rang and rang and rang. Probably a scam. Be very careful. I am going to report the occurrence to the FCC and encourage you to do the same should you receive one from the aforenoted number: 540-828-5197.
Recording stated I had a credit card with a balance and that the interest rate could be reduced. I pressed "1" to speak with an operator to inform them I have no credit cards. "Jerry" then asked how I learned to speak such plain English. I told him because I live in America. He asked, "So in order for to learn to speak plain English like you would you suggest I move to America or call to speak with you everyday? I hung up. Obviously phishing.

Please don't waste the FCC's time with a complaint about a single call that didn't even speak to you or leave any kind of message. They are understaffed and have their hands full enough with legitimate complaints.
