Calls, asked for my 6 yr old child said it was an important matter, and then a recorded voice tells you to call 1800-561-1611 phone number and tell them a reference number that they give you. I called the number and a voice service ask you to leave a message and they will call you back.
Same thing. Automated voice saying "Don't hang up. This is not a sales call." Too late. I'm gone. If this is a residential number, shouldn't the phone company be responsible for shutting the line down?
Same thing from this number saying they were looking for someone with my name. Press one if I was that person. After pressing one, it asked me to provide my SSN to verify my identity. Yeah - right! I hung up.
This company illegally hides their identity. They will not reveal who they are nor will any employee give a name, both against federal law. Subpoena Verizon for the billing address to this phone number and then sue in civil court, and then press federal charges. They are good at making calls to the wrong parties and to wrong numbers.
