Electronic message called me first regarding tax fraud and I was being invested by the IRS. Call the number for more information. I called the number a foreign speaking man gave the name Officier Sean Miller, ID # IRM9859, my case number :CP10173T. I was being investigated for tax fraud from 2011-2016. I owed $11,960 if I did not resolve the matter and took it to court it could cost my $90K and jail time. I asked why didn't I receive a notice in the mail. No answer. I said so it doesn't matter what I do, you will be issuing a warrant for my arrest today. He said that is correct. I said okay...arrest me!
Claimed to be from treasury dept and stated that a 600. Error in my 2004 taxes is resulting in my arrest. That I could clear this up for $4000. If I could not pay a sherif was supposed to come to my home and place me under arrest for six months. I told them I would call my lawyer and call them right back but called police in stead
A message was left from this number on my cell last night. It was an electronic message from the US Treasury Dept, federal claims and tax fraud dept. It was hard to understand- I immediately suspected scam. What did the police tell you to do about it?
I honestly couldn't understand much of the electronic message. It was very poorly done, it skipped words & numbers associated with how to reach them. Total scam! Called on my home phone.
Received a call from the US Treasury Dept regarding tax fraud. Said for me to call and give them my batch number. When I called I was told that I had to pay $1237.00 in order to clear up the money that I owe for taxes. I advised the foreign speaking man that I would give this information to my tax accountant and he hung up. The call was total fraudulant.
